Textiles are what we do. Since 1929, Ehmke Manufacturing Company’s core competency is to design and manufacture technical fabric products. Our company has adopted the latest fabrication and processing technology to adapt to changing market conditions and customer demands.
Expansive product knowledge
Throughout the years, Ehmke Manufacturing Company has produced over 8,000 products for the defense industry. From custom engine covers to ground support equipment and antenna transport covers, we can fulfill even the most demanding government contract.
Design Expertise
Members of the Ehmke Manufacturing Company staff collectively hold all three of the professional certifications offered by our industry association, the Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI). With staff engineers and design experts, our focus is to help make our customers’ concepts a reality orimprove their current design to enhance the form, fit or function of their product.
We maintain an extensive array of commercial, industrial, paraloft and military sewing machines (both single- and double-needled), box and bar tackers, computer-aided cutting tables, various presses and punch machines, fabric welding machines and grommet machines. The integration of these various machines into our LEAN Manufacturing flexible production lines allows Ehmke to produce a diverse product line of industrial and technical fabric items, including:
